Lost Language of Music          From the crowded street she could see her balcony, ivy clinging thick and dark to the wrought iron fence enclosing it, vibrant red blooms consuming the dusty clay pots lining its edge. Time had worn down the white stucco walls of the building, and the old Spanish tile was chipped and cracked; but in her eyes, no architectural structure held nearly the same awe-inspiring beauty as did this run-down apartment, lost in the thriving streets of Southern Italy.          For those who say life is too short, I say you have obviously never sat in a hospital waiting room while the person you love most is behind closed doors and fighting for their life. In those moments, time can stretch on for an eternity. It becomes a barrier between the person you have been and the person you will become. It holds the power to indeterminably change you, dragging each second as if to emphasize the dull agony of helplessness. Searching Part. 00Dante               Amongst the thicket of aged brambles he caught sight of a single ribbon. Speared on one of the seemingly dead branches, the thin strip of lace curled around the black, knotted wood like a child clutching to its Mother's dress.
